I recently was told I had H. Pylori by my doctor but was not given many details about it or what it was. To make it worse, the only reason it was discovered is because I insisted and lied to the doctor. She told me to take Prilosec for the rest of my life because I had Acid Reflux Disease.

My Mom has been suffering from severe gastritis since February 2008, and has suffered from acid reflux even before that. She was in and out of the emergency room almost every day at all hours of the day. The hospital employees were even annoyed when they saw her coming because there wasn’t much they could do to ease her pain. I am a cab driver from New York City. For years now, I have been suffering from chronic gastritis, and recently it got worse: I was diagnosed with a large gastric ulcer.
